What is the FCC Expression Fund?
The FCC Expression Fund is one way Farm Credit Canada supports the vitality of official language minority communities. FCC gives $50,000 annually to support projects in official language minority communities across Canada. The fund supports projects such as community centres; day cares; and artistic projects like theatrical productions, art galleries and concerts – to name a few. To qualify, projects must enhance the vitality of an official language minority community.
How much is available for each project?
The FCC Expression Fund awards between $2,000 and $10,000 to each successful applicant.
What qualifies as an official language minority community?
Official language minority communities are anglophone communities inside of Quebec and francophone communities outside of Quebec.
How are projects evaluated?
Each project is evaluated based on established criteria. A committee of FCC employees from across the country reviews each project.
