FCC Expression Fund 2011 Eligibility Guidelines
What qualifies?
For your project to be considered for funding, your organization must:
- be a registered charity or
- be a registered non-profit organization
And your project must:
- enhance the vitality of an official language minority community
- be completed by December 31, 2013
- offer recognition for FCC
Farm Credit Canada prefers to partner with organizations that:
- benefit more than one community
- encourage volunteerism
- are located in rural Canada
FCC will not support projects or activities that:
- take place outside of Canada
- have received financial support from the FCC Expression Funds in the past two years
- are being implemented to contribute to debt reduction campaigns
- are undertaken by private foundations or third parties raising funds for a charity (e.g. Lion's Club, Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, etc.)
- are taking place in support of individual endeavours
- only provide benefit to members of a particular religion, political party or social organization
- benefit private schools
- are undertaken by organizations whose primary focus is advocating a particular religious, social, moral, political or economic point of view
- are likely to have a significant adverse environmental effect
Additional information
- Only on-line applications will be accepted.
- Preference may be given to organizations that have a focus on agriculture.
- FCC employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to complete the application for the FCC Expression Fund.
- Selected organizations must sign a letter of agreement with FCC and show documentation of project completion.
- The completion of an environmental assessment may be required as part of the evaluation process.
